Heavy Diesel Mechanic
CoreStaff are seeking highly skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic for work taking place at Olympic Dam Mine . Our client is a reputable family owned company who provide services in Agriculture , Civil Earthworks , Mining, Road construction, pipelines and Water Infrastructure projects.
This work includes workshop and field breakdown work undertaking repairs, servicing's, diagnostic work and fault finding duties. You will be maintaining and repairing company mobile plant which may include Excavators, Dozers, Graders, Loaders, Scrapers, Haul Trucks and Road Trains.
In addition, any auto electrical experience and prior works on road transport gear will be highly regarded. Pending work location/site you may be required to bring your own tools.

- Roster : 14/7
- Shifts: All day shifts
- Start : Immediate
- Duration : Long term ongoing work
- Travel : DIDO from Surrounding areas or FIFO via Adelaide
- Hours: 11- 12 hour days
- Rates : Pending exp level and scope of machinery skills $60 - $70 per hour (Flat Rate)
- Inclusions: Flights, accommodation and meals

To be successful :
- Prior experience in Mining and Civil sectors
- Class C Drivers Licence (Manual)
- Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification
- Be prepared to work in remote locations and hot working environments
- Be able to Pass Police Check
- Be able to pass Pre-Employment Medical
- Be safety focused
- Clean shaven is required for some site access requirements
