Light Vehicle Mechanic
Corestaff WA are welcoming applications from Light Vehicle mechanics to attend a Train to Task assessment day on the 16th of August.
Our client is the largest OEM provider in Western Australia, and has branches around the world. They are looking for LV mechanics they can put through their assessment centre and, if successful, train up in the Heavy Duty Field.
Although there is no guarantee of time frames or end qualifications, there is the opportunity to get in with the right company, and express your interest in upskilling your trade into a HD trade – they are certainly th right company to help with this as they have a massive training institute attached to their workshop where they train their apprentices and upskill candidates.
This role is a local workshop based role for the training component, there is the opportunity to go into a FIFO role once you have completed the required training.
The successful applicants will be able to meet the following criteria:
- Trade Certificate (Light Vehicle Mechanic or Fixed Plant fitter)
- Ability to attend assessment centre on the 16th of August
- Strong focus on safety
- Excellent attitude
- Willingness to learn and do training as required
- Valid drivers licence
- Valid forklift ticket (or willingness to obtain – we can help with payroll deductions if cash flow is an issue)
- Ability to pass pre employment medical and drug screen
