About Our Client: Our client is responsible for electricity transmission and distribution and provides water and sewerage services to the five main Territory centres in the Northern Territory, being Darwin, Katherine, Alice Springs, Tennant Creek and Nhulunbuy.
  
Our client requires a full time Control Officer to assist the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) for approximately a six-month contract. This role will assist the (EPMO) Manager in the system administration, including the collection and tracking of project data, and provide secretarial support to the Enterprise Portfolio Management Committee.
  
About the Role: 
  • Coordinate and liaise with project managers capturing project data and completing monthly reports.
  • Provide secretariat support to Enterprise Portfolio Management committee (EPMC), advising on committee procedure and practice; providing administrative and clerical support; undertaking research and analytical work related to the terms of reference and content of inquiries, and taking meeting minutes.
  • Provide administrative support and systems training to project managers.
  • Provide guidance, participate in meetings, training and/or assistance in navigating the Investment and Delivery Framework submission gateways and procedures.
  • Conduct continual analysis and data cleansing activities to ensure the Asset Management Systems data and the Enterprise Project Management Systems data is aligned.
To be successful for this role, you will need the following:
  • Experience in financial monitoring, maintain accurate data, preferably in Project Management Systems/Asset Management System.
  • High level interpersonal and working in a high performing team environment with a strong focus on customer service and promoting corporate values.
  • Hish developed time management and organisational skills
  • Use of project reporting/ scheduling tools (MS Project/ PowerBI)
  • Experience in coordinating reports and ensuring quality reviews have been conducted within tight deadlines.
  • Must be Darwin based
