About the Role & Responsibilities
- Support reviews of operational performance of asset or system risks to develop and implement preventative maintenance programs and budgets, working cooperatively with operational areas to obtain input and feedback on the appropriate level of maintenance and effectiveness of the programs
- Contribute to the effective operation and interface with works management functions including providing timely input to facilitate the efficient planning, scheduling, dispatching and closure of work activities
- Provide regular reporting of asset data and contribute to analysis and assessment of reports to inform capital and operational programs.
- Monitor and report on water and sewer system performance against by work order data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Seek to reduce the environmental impact of the organisation through compliance with legislative, regulatory and licence requirements
- Support a continuous improvement culture, developing and reviewing processes and procedures to ensure they are current and relevant to legislative, regulatory and other work requirements
- Support the financial and operational performance of the team, working with others to provide inputs and reports on the metrics that measure team performance
About you
- Demonstrated experience in development and implementation of preventative maintenance schedules in an asset management system
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of asset condition inspections, assessment, and data collection techniques
- Experience with asset management systems such as Maximo and spatial systems such as ESRI
- Experience developing and following a location/asset hierarchy structure, including asset creation with required data.
- Experience at creating reports from asset management systems and analysing the data
- Demonstrated experience in strategic asset maintenance planning
- Desirable – Certificate III in Water Industry Operation
- A current NT driver’s licence and construction industry white card or ability to obtain
- 6 month contract
- 37.5hr a week
