About Our Client  TPS is a trusted provider of commercial pollination solutions, overseeing between 5,000 and 6,000 beehives during the peak season. TPS supports a diverse range of clients across Tasmania, including those in the vegetable, horticultural, and broadacre sectors

About The Job TPS is looking for a passionate, hardworking Beekeeper to join our team in a casual role with the potential to progress into full-time. The ideal candidate will enjoy working outdoors, have a genuine interest in bees and pollination, and be committed to safety and teamwork. The position is in Southern Tasmania operating out of Richmond and Plenty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the care, transport, and management of hives
  • Pollinate a wide range of crops for seed and food production
  • Splitting and Requeening hives to replace and grow hive numbers
  • Work on-site at various client locations across Tasmania
  • Conduct hive inspections and maintenance
  • Undertake various cleaning and maintenance tasks during the off-season
  • Assist with honey extraction
  • Follow safety protocols and contribute to a positive team culture
About You If you possess the following attributes, we would like to hear from you!
  • Genuine passion for bees and agriculture
  • Must be comfortable working with large numbers of bees
  • High level of attention to detail, record keeping and safety awareness
  • Able to work flexible hours (early mornings, etc.)
  • Willingness to learn – on-the-job training provided
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
  • MR truck license and forklift license are an advantage, or willingness to obtain
  • First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
