CoreStaff are currently recruiting for multiple casual roles across Sydney for experienced and dedicated Child Care Educators.
These assignments are available for a start in Early January 2026.
We are looking for a candidate who has experience, who has genuine passion to work with children, a genuine interest in providing the support and care that children need to thrive.
Current roles available 6 to 8 hours a day in Sydney CBD, Inner West as well as ALL outer suburbs.

About the role:

Casual hourly rates of pay
- Cert III - $38.42
- Diploma - $43.21
- ECT - $56.25
- Minimum Certificate III – Early Childhood Education.
- Minimum 2 years’ work experience.
- Flexible to work across all age groups.
- First Aid Certificate (not essential but highly desirable)
- Working with Children Check (Current)
- Food Handling Certificate (Current)
- National Police Check (Current)
- Child Protection Certificate - Identify and Report Children and Young People at risk (not essential but highly desirable)
- 2 references from previous supervisors.
About the role:
- You will be observing and assessing children's development and progress, maintaining accurate records of observations, assessments, and learning outcomes.
- Actively engaging with and supervising children though current room programs ensuring safety, dietary and allergy requirements are met.
- Respect and celebrate cultural differences among children and families.
- Collaborate with colleagues, including other educators in other age groups, to coordinate activities, share resources, and maintain a cohesive childcare centre.
- You will have a positive attitude, a passion to work with children and a genuine interest in providing the support that children need to thrive.
