CORESTAFF is currently seeking an experienced Engineering Maintenance Operator
to join a busy local government maintenance team. This hands-on role is ideal for a motivated civil maintenance professional who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and contributing to the upkeep of community infrastructure.

As an Engineering Maintenance Operator, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of construction, maintenance and repair activities across roads, footpaths, drainage systems, and other public assets.

Key Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain concrete footpaths and civil infrastructure
- Undertake pothole repairs and road maintenance activities
- Clean and maintain drainage pits, pipes and stormwater assets
- Operate construction plant, machinery and maintenance equipment
- Complete physical outdoor work safely and efficiently
- Contribute to a positive safety culture and team environment
- Follow operational procedures and maintenance schedules
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Current HR Driver's Licence
- Experience with Plant Machinery with tickets
- Construction Industry White Card
- Skid Steer Ticket(highly desirable)
- Backhoe Ticket(highly desirable)
- Forklift Licence(highly desirable)
- Experience working within civil construction, local government, road maintenance or infrastructure services
- Strong capability operating construction plant and machinery
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Reliable work ethic and strong attention to detail
- Additional civil construction tickets and certifications
