About the Role:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes to machine conveyor rollers, shafts, and bearing housings
- Read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications
- Check tolerances and measure finished components using precision instruments
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and routine CNC programming adjustments
- Maintain quality standards and ensure all components meet specifications
- Conduct basic maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines and work area
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and follow safety procedures
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedule
- Trade qualified Machinist
- Experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across departments
- Valid Electrical License and current Driver’s Licence
- Must successfully complete pre-employment medical including DAS
- Minimum of two recent, relevant and contactable employment references
