CoreStaff Darwin have a permanent Full Time Opportunity available for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join a well known Aboriginal owned, award winning construction business in Darwin.  
  
Delivering residential, commercial and public infrastructure projects across the Territory. About the Role & Responsibilities:
  
Working closely with the project and management teams, you will support the commercial and contractual delivery of construction projects from procurement through to completion.
  
  • Preparing, reviewing and administering subcontractor agreements and contracts
  • Managing procurement packages, scopes of work and subcontractor engagement
  • Assessing subcontractor claims, variations and progress payments
  • Maintaining project cost tracking, forecasting and commercial reporting
  • Managing contract documentation, correspondence and registers
  • Supporting project managers with budgets, variations and contractual requirements
  • Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and internal stakeholders
  • Assisting with project reporting and ensuring contractual deadlines are met
  • Supporting projects through practical completion and final account close-out
  
About you
  
We are looking for someone who is commercially switched on, organised and comfortable working in a fast-moving construction environment.
  
  • Previous Contracts Administrator experience within commercial, residential or civil construction
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement and subcontractor administration
  • Experience managing variations, progress claims and project costs
  • Excellent attention to detail and document management skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Confidence working both independently and as part of a project team
  • Relevant construction, quantity surveying, project management or commercial qualifications highly regarded
