Our client, located in Campbellfield, is Australia’s largest hot-dip galvanizing company and leader in protective metal coatings. We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer/ Operations Admin Assistant to work in their fast-paced plant. The successful applicant would be required to work DAY shift 8:00am –4:30pm.
About The Job
The dual role is split between Customer Service & Operation Admin Assistant which will be reporting to the Team Leader/Operations Manager. You will ensure seamless servicing of customers from the initial order to the finished product.

About The Job
The dual role is split between Customer Service & Operation Admin Assistant which will be reporting to the Team Leader/Operations Manager. You will ensure seamless servicing of customers from the initial order to the finished product.
- Enter products into the system and managing stock/freight
- Ordering all site/office products and making sure to verify orders
- Liaise between head office and the operations team
- Data entry/ Process Testing
- Support sales initiatives to grow the business
- Answering phone calls and direct inquiries
- Customer Greeting
- Managing Inductions for contractors/ visitors
- Experience in Customer Service or Operations role preferably within a manufacturing and/ or distribution environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a timely manner
- Excellent customer service skills and mindset with exceptional communication skills
- Process oriented with a high attention to detail
- Ability to follow detailed administrative processes and work unsupervised and adapt to change and business needs.
- Solid knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook) and ERP systems like QAD and VCCMAX.
