About the role:
The Data Insights and Analytics Manager is accountable to the Manager, Strategy and Performance and works closely with the Digital Health team to lead and support data requirements to successfully deliver strategic projects, programs, and portfolios of work by the Project Management Office . The role will also support the monitoring and analysis of Service Agreement Key Performance Indicators.
Please note this is a temporary contract with ASAP start - a finish date for this contract is not determined yet.
About the responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing processes to extract, examine and visualise complex health data to provide insightful information to internal and external stakeholders, and discover patterns and trends in the data for informed decision making.
- Working collaboratively with Project Managers in the PMO to co-ordinate and analyse complex data sets to support successful delivery of key strategic projects.
- Researching, designing, and implementing reports and visualisations based on reliable data and insights tailored to relevant audiences, to drive decision making by Executives and Board members.
- Supporting the delivery of Data and Analytics Strategy, including providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring in data analytics and providing insightful data information to other Data Analyst across the organisation.
Essential requirements:
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire others to work collaborative to achieve objectives, develop talent with a commitment to a team orientated philosophy to bring about best use of resources to deliver services.
- Tertiary qualification/s in Information Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Technology or related discipline.
- High level skills in analysing and interpreting data, communicating the information concisely and accurately, in either verbal or written format to support stakeholder decision making.
- High level conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to research and critically analyse complex information to develop concise reports and insights to support critical Executive and Board decision making.
- Extensive knowledge of data management, analysis, controls and governance principles, standards, instruments and tools which support the development of a unified approach to transforming Casemix data into a strategic asset.
- Australian PR/Citizenship is mandatory.
