About Our Client
Our client operates approximately 970 kilometres south-east of Darwin on one of the world’s largest zinc and lead deposits. We are currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Planner for an ongoing FIFO position, with the potential to transition to permanent employment.
  
About the Role
  • 15/13 FIFO Dayshift Roster
  • NT candidates are preferred
  • Interstate Candidates welcome to apply, however interstate flights are at the cost of the candidate
  • $98.10 per hour
  • 12-hour dayshift only
  • Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent the primary focus of the Maintenance Planner is to develop and monitor work schedules to support the delivery of preventive maintenance schedules for the Metallurgy Department.
  • Will be the principle contact and liaison between Maintenance, Operations and other supported departments such as Metallurgy.
  • Plan/Schedule work initiated through various stakeholders, ensuring that the required resources are available, and work is carried out in line with the maintenance plan.
  • Communicate with requestors of work orders for clarity of work to be performed.
  • Assist the Electrical Supervisors and Leading Hands with detailed scoping of work requests, ordering and confirming of parts to execute the planned maintenance schedule. This will include in field scoping of equipment that is in the plant to verify and confirm all parts are correct before ordering.
  
Requirements
  • Current Electrical License
  • Trade Certificate
  • 5+ years Fixed Plant experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of mineral processing systems, processes, and their interrelationships (including maintenance systems, e.g., SAP)
  • Valid LVR/CPR
  • EWP ticket
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Industrial or mining electrical experience
  • The ability to pass a full pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
  • Clean shaven 
  • Must be willing to pay for interstate flights to and from Darwin if you are not a Darwin local
