About Our Client

Our client is a large WA Government authority responsible for the State’s road and transport infrastructure. They are committed to high safety standards, quality project delivery, and collaborative working environments.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Electrical to manage the delivery of electrical capital works projects across the State. This role will see you overseeing projects from planning through to on-site delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.

You will work closely with internal teams and key stakeholders to coordinate designs, manage contractors, and report on project performance and expenditure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project manage the delivery of electrical capital works to client requirements across WA
  • Review Project Charters and prepare design briefs
  • Coordinate designs to ensure constructability and compliance with corporate standards
  • Manage assigned projects on site and ensure delivery to approved scope, budget, time, and quality
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout project development and delivery
  • Monitor, report on, and forecast project progress and expenditure
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health requirements, particularly electrical safety
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven skills and experience in project management, ideally within electrical or infrastructure environments
  • Demonstrated experience in financial management and reporting within agreed allocations
  • Sound knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health, particularly electrical safety, and EEO, diversity and equity principles
  • Desirable: Degree or diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a related technical discipline, including a trade certificate
