About the Role:
- Perform electrical fault finding and diagnostics on CNC machines and other industrial equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve PLC issues (experience with Siemens or Allen-Bradley highly regarded)
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Support the commissioning, maintenance, and running of production machinery
- Manage day-to-day electrical facility maintenance across the workshop
- Identify faults, investigate root causes, and implement permanent solutions
- Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to minimise downtime
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance, and efficient operation
- Take ownership of your work and be resilient in solving technical challenges
- Be part of a supportive team that values long-term fit and commitment
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Australian-recognised Electrical Trade Qualification
- Proven experience in fault finding and repair of CNC machines and machine tools
- Strong ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics
- Solid knowledge of industrial electrical systems and safety standards
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen-Bradley or similar – highly regarded)
- Strong problem-solving mindset – able to identify root cause and implement long-term fixes
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across departments
- Valid Electrical License and current Driver’s Licence
- Must successfully complete pre-employment medical including DAS
- Minimum of two recent, relevant and contactable employment references
