About Our Client:   

Our client is a global leader in conveyor component manufacturing, supplying high-quality rollers, pulleys, and idlers to the mining and bulk materials handling industries. With a reputation for innovation, safety, and performance, PROK supports major operations across Australia and worldwide.

About the Role: 
  • Perform electrical fault finding and diagnostics on CNC machines and other industrial equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve PLC issues (experience with Siemens or Allen-Bradley highly regarded)
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical drawings
  • Support the commissioning, maintenance, and running of production machinery
  • Manage day-to-day electrical facility maintenance across the workshop
  • Identify faults, investigate root causes, and implement permanent solutions
  • Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to minimise downtime
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance, and efficient operation
  • Take ownership of your work and be resilient in solving technical challenges

Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Australian-recognised Electrical Trade Qualification
  • Proven experience in fault finding and repair of CNC machines and machine tools
  • Strong ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics
  • Solid knowledge of industrial electrical systems and safety standards
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen-Bradley or similar – highly regarded)
  • Strong problem-solving mindset – able to identify root cause and implement long-term fixes
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across departments
  • Valid Electrical License and current Driver’s Licence

  • Must successfully complete pre-employment medical including DAS
  • Minimum of two recent, relevant and contactable employment references
