Our client operates on one of the world’s largest zinc and lead deposits, located approximately 970 kilometres south-east of Darwin.
We are currently seeking an experienced Environmental Technician to join the team on an ongoing 2:2 roster, with the potential for a permanent opportunity. This role plays a key part in supporting the rehabilitation and environmental management of the site.

About the Role:
- 2:2 roster
- Dayshift only, 12 hour shifts
- $46.50 p/h
- FIFO ex Darwin (interstate flights are not included)
- Mine site rehabilitation, including horticulture, agriculture, and landscaping works
- Operation of skid steer and other relevant equipment
- Safe handling and application of chemicals as required for vegetation control and rehabilitation activities
To be successful for this role, you will need the following:
- Previous environmental labouring and/or horticulture experience
- A valid MR or HR driver’s licence and demonstrated driving experience
- A current Skid Steer ticket with proven operational experience
- An Apply Chemicals certificate (AC/DC) or willingness to obtain
- A Chainsaw certificate or willingness to obtain
- The ability to pass a full pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
- Clean shaven
- Must be willing to pay for interstate flights to and from Darwin
