The Role
- Programming and setting up CNC Brake Press and Turret Press machines
- Reading and interpreting 3D schematics, technical drawings, and bend sequences (full on-site training and support provided)
- Selecting appropriate tooling, calculating bend allowances, and ensuring accurate setups for consistent high-quality output
- Producing precision sheet metal components for data cabinets and related products
- Maintaining dimensional quality standards and troubleshooting any technical or mechanical issues
- Completing production records, labelling, and preparing finished goods for dispatch
- Working efficiently to meet daily production targets while prioritising safety and quality
- Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience as a CNC Programmer/Setter on Brake Press and/or Turret Press machines (sheet metal / metal fabrication industry highly preferred)
- Strong ability to read 3D models, engineering drawings, and develop bend programs/sequences
- Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to detect and resolve machine or tooling-related issues
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment (data cabinets, enclosures, or similar metal products is a big advantage)
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 20kg and standing for extended periods
