About Our Client
Our client is a reputable company located in Lonsdale and is an industry leader in producing custom-made printed and flexible packaging. Our client seeks to provide career growth offering further training in other site areas and apprenticeships to those that seek to establish themselves in the industry.
Initial roster Mon-Fri 8 hour, though once fully trained and confident the roster will be expected to move to 4 shifts per week , 12 hr , rotating day, afternoon and nights.
About The Job
This role can be a great entry-level position into the printing and plastic manufacturing industry , while past experience is highly regarded it is not essential !
Plastic extrusion is a high-volume manufacturing process that involves melting plastic pellets and forcing them through a shaped die to create a continuous profile. The molten plastic is then cooled and solidified into a final product, which is cut to the desired length.
Working closely with the Plastic Extruder Operator, this is a varied role though some main tasks will include providing a constant supply of plastic pellets to hopper as its fed into the machine and assisting with general factory duties to help maintain smooth production flow and quality control .
Casual Pay rates: $32.50 - $42.25 depending on shift worked

- Strong computer and technology skills- highly regarded
- Forklift - Highly regarded
- Physically Fit
- Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised
- You will be reliable and have good worth ethic
- Be able to provide 2 recent work references
