Our client operates one of Australia’s largest development-stage gold deposits, located approximately 250km southeast of Darwin. The project offers significant scale and long-term potential, with strong infrastructure in place, supportive local communities, and proven economic viability. With multiple development pathways and ongoing growth, it presents an exciting environment to be part of a major mining operation as it progresses.

We are currently seeking experienced Senior Field Technicians to join the team on a 6-month contract. This is a site-based role focused on core handling and field support within an active mining environment—ideal for those who enjoy practical, detail-driven work that directly contributes to geological outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Core cutting, marking, and preparation
- Core orientation to support geological interpretation
- Sample handling and general field support activities
- Maintaining safe, clean, and organised workspaces
About You
- Proven experience in core cutting and orientation
- Background working in mining or similar field environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Able to work independently and adapt to site routines
What’s on Offer
- $60 per hour (flat rate)
- 8:6 roster – dayshift only
- 6-month contract
- On-site accommodation (single room with shared facilities)
