About our Client: 
  
Our Client, located about 970 kilometres south-east of Darwin, on one of the worlds largest deposits of zinc and lead. 
We are currently recruiting for an electrician to work on an ongoing roster pattern with a potential for a permanent opportunity.
  
About the Role: 

This is a hands-on role working across a heavy industrial mining environment, responsible for maintaining critical electrical infrastructure and ensuring reliable plant operation.

Roster & Benefits
  • 2:2 FIFO roster
  • Dayshift & Nightshift rotating 
  • 12-hour shifts
  • FIFO from Darwin, interstate flights are not included
  • $65 p/h flat rate
  • Ongoing work with permanent opportunity
  • Camp accommodation and meals provided
  • Work with a reputable and large NT mining operation
  • Mining fixed plant 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Installation, maintenance, fault finding, testing and repair of industrial electrical systems and infrastructure
  • Maintenance of fixed plant, conveyors, crushers, pumps, motors and associated mining equipment
  • Preventative and breakdown maintenance across processing and production areas
  • Ensuring all work is completed to site safety and compliance standards
  • Working collaboratively within maintenance and operations teams to minimise downtime
To be successful for this role, you will need the following:
  • Current Electrical Licence
  • Current LVR/CPR certification
  • Current EWP ticket
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • Previous experience within mining, heavy industrial, fixed plant or processing environments
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities
  • Commitment to safety and safe work practices
  • Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
  • Willingness to pay your own interstate flights to NT
