About our Client: 
Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer and supplier of roll-formed steel building products. They specialize in steel roofing, wall cladding, rainwater products (gutters and fascias), structural purlins, flooring, and roller doors for residential and commercial projects. 

About the Role:
The role will involve working in their manufacturing section with machinery operating/manufacturing mill work. You will be responsible for operating and monitoring folding machinery to ensure products are manufactured safely, accurately and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate folding machines and associated equipment
  • Read and follow job specifications and production instructions
  • Check finished products for quality and accuracy
  • Make machine adjustments as required
  • Monitor production output and minimise waste
  • Carry out basic machine maintenance and cleaning
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area
About You
The successful candidate will have:
  • Previous experience operating folding or production machinery
  • Good grasp on mathematics
  • Good attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to read and understand job specifications
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong reliability and work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety
  • A background in Sheet Metal would be highly regarded
