About Our Client:
Our client is a Tasmanian owned business and is a major supplier of timber to the Australian & International marketplace.
About the Role:
Fulfill the role at the Front Counter greeting customers and directing customer calls to appropriate staff members, consulting customers and processing retail sales, cash handling and banking required, preparing paperwork for logistics staff and any other duties that maybe required from time to time.
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Front Counter Sales
- Invoicing & Despatch
- Cash Handling
- Customer Service
- Data Entry
Ideally 5 years experience in -
- Sales in the timber industry and /or a Carpentry/Building background preferred but not essential
- Previous Sales/Customer Service experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Great Phone manner
- Previous experience in Excel and Point of Sales Systems
- Appropriate etiquette for dealing with customers, staff & suppliers
- High ethical standards, and good discipline with respect to confidentiality
- High level of accuracy & attention to detail
- Great time management skills
- Self motivated and willing to take initiative to seek solutions and improvements
- A team player
- A positive "Can Do" attitude
