About the Roles/s:
CoreStaff are seeking an experienced Casual Grader Operator to support road construction, rehabilitation and maintenance projects. This role is ideal for a highly skilled operator with extensive grader experience who can work autonomously while maintaining high standards of safety, productivity and quality.
Working within a civil works team, you will be responsible for operating a grader to achieve required design levels, road maintenance outcomes and final trim finishes. You may also be required to coordinate work crews, contractors and plant resources to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to specification.

Working within a civil works team, you will be responsible for operating a grader to achieve required design levels, road maintenance outcomes and final trim finishes. You may also be required to coordinate work crews, contractors and plant resources to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate graders for road construction, rehabilitation and maintenance works.
- Perform maintenance grading and final trim grading activities.
- Construct and maintain gravel roads, road shoulders and drainage systems.
- Complete boxing out, excavation, compaction and material spreading works.
- Read and interpret plans, specifications and levels.
- Ensure all works are completed to required quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate work crews, subcontractors and plant operations when required.
- Identify and rectify defects or quality issues during construction and maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate material usage records and job documentation.
- Adhere to all WHS policies, procedures and safe work practices.
- Minimum 5 years' experience operating graders in a civil construction or road maintenance environment.
- Demonstrated final trim grading experience.
- Strong understanding of road construction and maintenance techniques.
- Experience working to design levels and interpreting plans.
- Experience leading or directing work crews is highly regarded.
- Current WA HR Licence (minimum HR-B).
- White Card (Construction Safety Awareness Training).
- Grader Competency Certificate and First Aid Certificate highly desirable.
