With the investment in innovation and emphasis on growth and development to continue, sees the need open for multiple roles across Sydney and regional NSW including Greenacre, Mascot, Eastern Creek, Queanbeyan.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This position is for a Trade qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (qualified Light Vehicle mechanic also considered however must have some exposure to heavy vehicles, diesels or even in the waste management industry)
With exposure to a wide variety of trucks and machinery, your primary responsibility will be the routine servicing and maintaining, diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicles and plant.
While not essential, experience in hydraulics and pneumatics or fabrication/welding experience would be viewed favourably.
These permanent positions have additional remuneration opportunities with Afternoon Shift and Breakdown allowances.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:
- A recognised Australian Trade Certificate in either Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic. (Licensed Light Vehicle Mechanic’s also considered)
- Ideally waste management industry experience however, proven experience working within your trade on heavy vehicles/diesel plant and machinery.
- A flexible can-do attitude, a team player and someone who can work safely within a team and if required unsupervised.
- An Australian issued HR, MR or MC Driver’s license.
- Own basic tools
- $48.00 per hour, five days a week plus penalties, overtime and allowances
