Our client is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join their team on a three-month contract with the possibility of extension. - Three-month contract with potential to extend, offering flexibility and opportunity
- Work with heavy vehicle systems and components in a professional trades setting
- Apply your Motor Mechanic qualifications and hands-on experience in a supportive team environment
- Provide an after hours rostered on-call service for the provision of urgent maintenance/repairs for appliances and heavy vehicles and equipment
- Must be able to pass a pre employment medical and National Police Check
- Current Medium Rigid driver's licence
- Proven experience working as a tradesperson in a heavy vehicle mechanic environment
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills across heavy vehicle systems
- Ability to work safely and follow workplace procedures and protocols
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality workmanship
- Engineering Tradesperson Certificate Level 1 in Motor Mechanic (Heavy Vehicle Stream)
- Demonstrated competency in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair
- Current or recent experience in a heavy vehicle workshop or fleet maintenance setting
