Based in Darwin, our client is an Australian-owned and operated family industrial and metal recycling company currently seeking an experienced HR Truck Driver to join their team.
This is a local Monday to Friday opportunity offering consistent hours for an immediate start.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for driving hook and skip trucks, transporting bins of scrap metal between sites across Darwin, Palmerston and surrounding rural areas.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for driving hook and skip trucks, transporting bins of scrap metal between sites across Darwin, Palmerston and surrounding rural areas.
Responsibilities and Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Operating hook and skip trucks
- Collecting and delivering scrap metal bins to various locations
- Emptying bins within the yard and delivering empty bins back to sites
- Completing daily vehicle pre-start checks and reporting any faults
- Operating a water cart as required
- Cleaning and maintaining the truck
- Assisting with general yard duties when required
- Current HR Driver Licence
- Previous HR truck driving experience
- Experience operating hook or skip trucks – highly regarded
- Forklift Licence preferred but not essential
- Ability to complete vehicle pre-starts and report faults
- Comfortable with hands-on and yard-based duties
- Strong safety awareness
- Reliable and available to work Monday to Friday
- Immediate start
- $38 per hour
- Monday to Friday roster
