About the Role
- Provide hands-on HSEQ support across construction, remediation, infrastructure and Defence-related project sites.
- Prepare, review and maintain key HSEQ documentation including management plans, SWMS, JHAs, risk assessments, audits and compliance records.
- Conduct site inspections, support pre-starts and toolbox talks, and work closely with project teams to drive practical safety outcomes.
- Manage hazard and incident reporting, support investigations, contribute to ICAM processes and help identify corrective actions.
- Assist with HSEQ reporting, training records, Integrated Management System updates and continuous improvement across active projects.
- Proven experience in a HSE, WHS or HSEQ Advisor role within construction, remediation, infrastructure, Defence or a similar project-based environment.
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, site safety requirements, risk management, incident reporting and contractor compliance.
- Confidence preparing and reviewing HSEQ documentation including SWMS, JHAs, risk assessments, safety plans and audit records.
- A practical communication style with the ability to influence site teams, supervisors, subcontractors and project managers without overcomplicating safety.
- Relevant WHS/OHS qualifications, with ICAM experience highly regarded and Australian Citizenship required for Defence site access.
