CoreStaff Broken Hill are currently seeking multiple experienced Industrial Electricians for a wellfield construction project for approx. 8 weeks work.

About the Role:
  • Pay Rate: $78 flat rate 
  • Even time roster 14/14 but open to alternatives for the right candidate. 12-hour shifts. 
  • FIFO available via ADEL and DIDO from Broken Hill or close surrounding areas only.
  • Site accommodation/ meals and flights provided. Travel time paid if DIDO from Broken hill.
To be successful for this role you will need the following:
  • An Australian Electrical trade qualification (Essential).
  • Valid Australian driver’s licence (Essential).
  • Must be able to pass PEM and DAS.
  • Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
The ideal candidate:
  • Able to work safely & independently
  • Ensure equipment is used and maintained using safe work procedures and operational practices.
  • Installation of equipment such as transformers, variable speed drives (VSDs), PLC infrastructure, flow meters, and actuated valves.
  • Assist with commissioning of electrical systems for in-situ leaching operations.
  • Ensure all assets are constructed and installed in compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
  • Conduct routine inspections of plant and equipment, implementing preventative maintenance measures and condition monitoring to ensure operational reliability.
  • Experience in a similar role in mining or a heavy industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with electrical and basic instrumentation fault-finding and diagnostics on fixed plant equipment.
  • Able to work outdoors in demanding conditions (Hot / dusty / walk on uneven ground)
