About the Role:
You will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, preventative maintenance, and repair of workshop machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth production. The role involves a mix of routine servicing, troubleshooting, and occasional welding/fabrication work to repair or modify parts.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on manufacturing machinery
- Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns promptly
- Weld and repair shafts or other metal components as required
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on machine condition
- Utilise spare parts inventory effectively for repairs
- Work closely with production staff to minimise interruptions to workflow
- Previous experience in mechanical maintenance, fitting, or workshop repairs
- Welding skills (basic to intermediate) – MIG/TIG/ARC experience an advantage
- Ability to work with older machinery and adapt to non-standard systems
- Hands-on, problem-solving approach with good attention to detail
- Safety-focused and reliable
- Valid Drivers Licence and reliable transport
- Ability to pass a medical and DAS
