About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position with a reputable Australian manufacturer. The role involves operating production machinery, mixing materials, and maintaining consistent product quality in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production and mixing machinery safely and efficiently
- Mix powdered materials and follow precise “recipes” and batch instructions
- Weigh and prepare materials for production runs
- Complete batch paperwork accurately using basic maths
- Operate forklifts to move materials and finished goods (if licensed)
- Perform general hand and manual handling tasks as required
- Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure compliance with WHS policies
- Show initiative and plan ahead to stay on top of machine and production flow
- Previous experience in manufacturing, machine operation or production work
- Forklift licence and experience operating forklifts
- Basic mathematical and literacy skills for recording production data
- Mechanically minded with a proactive and safety-first attitude
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team
