In this role you will be responsible for setting up, operating, adjusting and troubleshooting machinery used in the manufacture of PVC pipe and related plastic products, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient production.
Key Responsibilities :
- Set up, operate, adjust and troubleshoot PVC extrusion lines
- Fabricate and assemble PVC products to specifications, interpreting technical drawings and standards.
- Conduct quality testing to Australian Standards and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ACRS.
- Meet daily production targets, complete production reports and follow OH&S procedures.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- Minimum 3 years’ machine operating experience in plastics or PVC manufacturing (mechanical background preferable).
- Current forklift licence
- Strong literacy, numeracy, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ongoing work
- 4 on 4 off roster (this position will include weekend work)
