The Company
Our client is a global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructure. They are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter to join their team.
This position is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday on day shift based in Prestons.
What we are looking for:
- Australian Trade Qualified Maintenance Fitter with the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience on both breakdown and preventative maintenance
- Fault finding and problem-solving skills
- Performing routine maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting on machinery and equipment
- Maintain and repair mechanical systems including hydraulics and pneumatics
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues
- Preventative maintenance
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Good mechanical aptitude and confident with the use of hand /power tools and workshop machines
- Welding and Fabricating skills
- Forklift Licence (Desirable)
- EWP Licence (Desirable)
- Knowledge of Industrial machinery and mechanical systems (desirable)
