Our client is a reputable company located in Gepps Cross, is a global leader in trenchless pipe rehabilitation technology, specialising in innovative spirally wound plastic liners for restoring damaged sewers, storm drains, and culverts.
About The Job
This role will be part of the Maintenance team that performs all maintenance tasks on the manufacturing and production equipment.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the reliable performance of extrusion machinery and related equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, tooling upkeep, and machine operation. This is a hands-on position involving tasks such as wire cutting, welding, and fabrication, while also supporting equipment upgrades and new installations as needed.
Work days are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm
Pay Rate: Based on Experience and discussed further on interviewing.

About You
Essential
- Mechanical /toolmaking trade qualification Certificate III
- Experience and ability to read mechanical drawings & manufacture to drawings
- Experience using workshop equipment safely & competently: e.g. lathes, mills, surface grinders, drill presses, mig and tig welders
- Experience in fault finding and problem solving to timely repair to Production Equipment
- Familiar with Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
- Ability to operate unsupervised
- Ability to communicate effectively within the maintenance group & also with external departments
- Neat & Tidy work ethic
- 5 years post trade experience in Industry
- Knowledge and experience with a plastic extrusion process
- Forklift and scissor lift licenses
- Able to work at heights
- Physically Fit
- Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised
- You will be reliable and have good worth ethic
- Be able to provide 2 recent work references
