About Our Client:   

Our client is a global leader in conveyor component manufacturing, supplying high-quality rollers, pulleys, and idlers to the mining and bulk materials handling industries. With a reputation for innovation, safety, and performance, PROK supports major operations across Australia and worldwide.

About the Role: 

We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Materials Handler to support our clients production and logistics operation. This role is critical in ensuring materials and components are moved efficiently and safely through the workshop, yard, and stores to meet manufacturing and dispatch requirements.
  • Operate forklifts (counterbalance) to transport materials, including awkward or “ugly” freight
  • Move raw materials and finished products between stores, yard, and workshop areas
  • Load and unload trucks using appropriate lifting equipment
  • Support inventory control and materials tracking
  • Assist with metal bending and cutting tasks when required
  • Ensure all handling activities comply with site safety procedures
  • General housekeeping and maintenance of storage areas
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Valid forklift licence (LF) with demonstrated experience in material handling
  • Experience handling heavy, awkward, or oversized loads
  • Familiarity with workshop, yard, or industrial manufacturing environments
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
  • Basic mechanical or machine operation experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
Applicants must be willing to undergo the following:
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment medical including DAS
  • Minimum of two recent, relevant and contactable employment references
