We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter
to join our client's team on an 8 days on / 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth. This role is ideal for a tradesperson with strong experience in in Fixed Plant, plus servicing diesel generators, dewatering pumps, and associated mechanical equipment within mining, construction, or industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair diesel generators, power generation equipment, dewatering pumps, and associated mechanical systems.
- Perform comprehensive maintenance on centrifugal, positive displacement, and slurry pumps.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot fixed plant control systems.
- Complete preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
- Respond to breakdowns and emergency call-outs in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and equipment histories.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company procedures and site safety standards.
- Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent.
- Proven experience servicing and maintaining diesel generators, including diesel engines and control panels.
- Strong experience maintaining and repairing fixed plant.
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork.
- 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.
