About Our Client:
Our client is a well-established mining services company operating in the Kalgoorlie region. They are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for an upcoming shutdown project.
About the Role:
This is a short-term shutdown opportunity offering competitive pay, travel allowances, and accommodation.
You will join a skilled team performing general maintenance on pumps, conveyors, rollers, and other mechanical equipment during the shutdown period.
Dates: 20/04/26 – 25/04/26
Location: Kalgoorlie
Pay:$60/hr + travel hours paid + $70/day meal allowance
Accommodation: Offsite motel provided

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general mechanical maintenance and repairs on pumps, conveyors, rollers, and associated equipment
- Follow all site safety procedures and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and site personnel
- Travel to and from site as required
- Australian-recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Lab DAS
- Current National Police Clearance
- Previous shutdown or mining experience preferred
- Ability to travel and stay in offsite accommodation
