About Our Client CoreStaff have a valued client located in the Hobart Suburbs seeking a confident and driven Operations Manager to fill an exciting role.
About the Job
Our client is a reputable manufacturer and supplier to the Australian and International marketplaces, with an extensive history within the Tasmanian market. Proudly family owned and operated, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join this well-established brand.
You will have overall responsibility for the efficient operation of all areas on the site, which are involved in the manufacture, storage and sales of building related products. This includes all facets of the production cycle including fabricated and engineered production, truss plant, retail operations and the maintenance department.
You will be required to work closely with the respective managers and supervisors of the above areas to ensure that they are operated in a safe, cost-effective manner to achieve their budgeted outcomes.
About You
Experience in the building industry is not essential.
Our client is looking for leadership and operations experience. Reporting directly to the General Manager you will be overseeing a large team of employee's, your well-developed leadership and communication skills will see you manage the day-to-day operations of the business whilst ensuring effective cost control, quality, and work health and safety requirements are achieved in line with business objectives.
You will need to have a sound ability to build and maintain relationships on an internal and external level to drive successful outcomes, you will play an integral role in ensuring the team delivers high level outcomes.
