CoreStaff Broken Hill are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable OGA Specialist (Outgoing Goods Advice) to join a well-established mining operation on a local 5/2 roster. Looking for someone local to the Roxby downs SA area. 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door within the mining industry, with full training provided for the right candidate.


Working closely with the operations team, you will play a key role in waste tracking, transport compliance, environmental processes, and ongoing site administration. This role is ideal for someone who is safety-focused, eager to learn, and confident using computer systems in a fast-paced operational environment.

Roster & Benefits:
* 5/2 roster – 8 to 10 hour days
* $42 per hour flat rate (based on experience)
* Local applicants preferred due to roster requirements
* Full training provided for the right candidate
* Great opportunity to gain mining industry experience

Key Responsibilities:
* Complete all Outgoing Goods Advice (OGA) paperwork and transport documentation.
* Maintain accurate waste tracking and contaminated waste database records.
* Ensure all transport and disposal activities comply with Veolia, BHP and EPA requirements.
* Test materials and analyse waste data to determine appropriate disposal pathways.
* Assist with reporting, KPI tracking, invoicing, and purchasing processes.
* Liaise with internal teams and recyclables contractors to support site operations.
* Support process improvement initiatives alongside the Operations Manager.
* Ensure all records and documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

What We’re Looking For:
- Current Driver’s Licence.
- Current Forklift Licence.
- Strong computer skills across Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Good communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Highly Regarded:
- Experience working on mine or client sites.
- Experience within waste management or environmental services.
- Knowledge of dangerous goods handling and EPA transport requirements.
- Dangerous Goods Handling Training.
