About the Role
As our Payroll Officer, you'll play an important role in ensuring our payroll and invoicing processes run smoothly, accurately and on time.
  
  • Managing high-quality, end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Processing accurate and timely payroll for all employees.
  • Preparing accurate and timely client invoices.
  • Maintaining employee payroll records, including pay rates, leave, deductions and allowances.
  • Ensuring payroll processes comply with relevant tax, superannuation and employment legislation.
  • Reconciling payroll data and investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Responding to employee payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Preparing payroll reports and assisting with audits and month-end processes.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider team to continually improve payroll processes.
  
About You
We're looking for someone who is reliable, enthusiastic and eager to learn.
  
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The confidence to professionally engage with clients, employees and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Previous payroll experience is highly regarded, but not essential — full training will be provided.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
  • The ability to work independently while also being a valued team player.
  • A current C Class Driver's Licence.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday.
