CoreStaff are currently seeking a Pit Services Crew Member to join one of our open-cut mining operations in the Singleton area. This role is suited to a reliable and self-motivated individual who enjoys hands-on work and contributing to the smooth running of site operations.

No FIFO/Camp available.

CoreStaff are currently seeking a Pit Services Crew Member to join one of our open-cut mining operations in the Singleton area. This role is suited to a reliable and self-motivated individual who enjoys hands-on work and contributing to the smooth running of site operations.
Role Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and management of mine network trailers
- Liaising with the Systems Engineer to obtain coverage maps
- Ensuring all network trailers are positioned correctly to maintain site coverage
- Relocating network trailers and lighting plants to support blasting activities
- Setting up lighting plants for night shift operations
- Washing and maintaining light vehicles during spare time
- Assisting with general pit services duties as required
- Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude
- Able to work independently and follow instructions
- Comfortable working in a mining environment
- Safety-focused with attention to detail
- Previous mining or pit services experience is desirable but not essential
Successful Candidates will:
- Hold a current C Class Drivers Licence
- Have the ability to pass an Order 43 Pre-Placement Medical or hold a current Medical that has been conducted within the last 12 months
- Be able to provide contact details of 2 recent work-related references (this will need to be a Supervisor or equivalent)
