CoreStaff Darwin are seeking a Procurement Partner
  
Our Client is a government-owned corporation who transmits and distributes electricity, and provides water and sewerage services, across the Northern Territory.
  
About the Role & Responsibilities
  
  • Assist with the preparation of quality market approach documentation for all complex procurement activities including industry engagement, facilitating legal review and complaint management.
  • Establish and maintain records and systems and provide quality performance reports as required.
  • Work collaboratively towards business objectives, and provide advice and contribute to decision-making, identifying emerging issues/risks.
  • Establish networks to enable performance benchmarking, monitor market trends and maintain currency in procurement trends and developments.
  • Develop and implement plans and strategies to meet business needs, enhance stakeholder engagement, and challenge and motivate providers to optimise service outcomes.
  • Provide authoritative advice to key stakeholders on all aspects of the procurement function to encourage innovative practices, achieve delivery of business outcomes and support policy directions.
  • Apply the procurement governance and risk management framework to ensure compliance, manage risk and improve procurement activity and performance.
  
About you
  
  • Proven experience in the delivery of construction, goods, professional and technical services, corporate and administrative services, and an awareness of the procurement lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, with a focus on facilitating purchasing or project delivery outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and responding to strategic improvement opportunities, in particular in relation to purchasing and procurement activities.
  • Experience in research investigation and analysis providing advice to stakeholders on procurement matters and in the development of our clients procedures
  • Desirable – qualification from Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), Diploma of Business, Project Management or equivalent.
