CoreStaff Darwin are seeking a Project Engagement Lead to Provide project management and stakeholder engagement support to the Regulation Economics and Pricing team to facilitate regulatory proposals and projects within our client's corporation and across various external stakeholders.
  
Our Client is a government-owned corporation who transmits and distributes electricity, and provides water and sewerage services, across the Northern Territory.
  
About the Role & Responsibilities
  
  • Lead project management of regulatory proposals and projects including project planning development and evaluation, governance, identification of resources and constraints.
  • Execute and completion of regulatory proposals and projects while adhering to budget and agreed timeline constraints.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of special projects including process and procedure improvements from development, execution and completion while adhering to budget and agreed timeline constraints.
  • Responsible for the effective communication of project status updates and risks to Regulation Economics and Pricing management to ensure effective program delivery.
  • Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Responsible for monitoring, tracking, the control of outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, resourcing, dependencies, and critical path to deliverables to mitigate impact to successful delivery.
  • Facilitate the engagement of stakeholders at all levels during the project life cycle to gain commitment.
  • Preparation of papers necessary for management purposes, e.g., steering committee or Board papers, memorandums, ministerial briefings, legislative assembly briefings.
  • Secretariat for regulatory and project committees, and management of consultant activities and contracts.
  
About you
  
  • Proficient organisational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proven highly developed project management skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to positively influence, and challenge key stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes and ensure internal staff understand their accountabilities for on‑time delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, organising and ensuring delivery to meet project objectives and timelines.
  • Well-developed and demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
  • Results orientated, self-motivated and can work autonomously with the ability to take initiative and maintain consistency.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret regulatory concepts and their application.
  • Key Qualifications or Licenses: Qualifications in project management/ coordination and general business-related qualifications (business, finance, commerce, etc) would be advantageous
