Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a permanent position in Perth. This role is ideal for someone with a strong track record in managing education and commercial projects, including new constructions
and complex refurbishments in Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage project planning, scheduling, budgeting, documentation, and subcontractor procurement.
• Monitor project costs and deliver comprehensive financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain construction programs using Microsoft Project.
• Approve and negotiate subcontractor and supplier claims.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Provide buildability, value management, and compliance solutions.
What We’re Looking For
• A degree in Construction Management & Economics (or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a head contractor (Tier 2 or 3).
• Prior experience as a Contracts Administrator in the commercial sector (desirable).
• Demonstrated success managing education or tertiary projects valued over $20 million (desirable).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and construction scheduling with clear critical path methodology.
• Strong skills in contract administration, cost tracking, and monthly reporting.
• Subcontractor procurement and scope packaging experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with clients and stakeholders.
• Sound organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with construction management software.
