About our Client:
Our client operates a major mining operation in the Northern Territory, supporting one of the region’s significant base-metal projects.

We are currently recruiting experienced Refrigeration Technicians to join the site maintenance team on a remote FIFO basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified technician looking for ongoing work on a 2:2 roster with competitive rates.

About the Role:
  • 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster
  • FIFO – remote NT
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Rates from $60+ per hour
  • Installation, maintenance, servicing and fault-finding of refrigeration and air-conditioning systems
  • Preventative and breakdown maintenance across site facilities and accommodation
  • Diagnose and repair refrigeration, HVAC and associated mechanical/electrical faults
  • Experience working on commercial and/or industrial refrigeration systems highly regarded
  • Ability to work independently in a remote mining environment
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ongoing opportunity for the right candidate
To be successful for this role, you will need the following:
  • Australian Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) trade qualification
  • Current Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARCtic)
  • Licence appropriate to the work being undertaken
  • Current NT Restricted electrical license 
  • Current Australian driver's licence
  • Demonstrated experience as a Refrigeration Technician
  • Experience with commercial/industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems
  • Strong understanding of preventative maintenance and breakdown fault-finding
  • Ability to work safely and independently in a remote environment
  • Strong commitment to site safety, procedures and compliance
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
  • High level of reliability and a strong work ethic
