Our client an Australian window manufacturer is currently seeking a fulltime Sales Account Manager to join their Tasmanian team based in Cambridge.
  
The successful candidate will be expected to manage both on and off premise accounts and possess the ability to open doors to new business.  
 
You will be part of a close knit team and must be a driven and passionate sale professional who has a entrepreneurial spirit and who is able to sell and develop their territory accordingly.  
 
This opportunity ideally suits a person with a back ground in window manufacturing or the construction industry who wants to be part of a highly successful business.

About the Role:

The role will be fulltime and you will be required to travel across the state.  
The Successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be a proven performer in a sales focused role.

  • Proven experience in sales is considered essential and proven track record
  • A back ground in window manufacturing or construction industries and advantage
  • Ability to exercise initiative and solve problems
  • Ability to achieve sales targets
  • Exceptional communication skills, persuasive/sales ability
  • Friendly, strong customer-service orientation
  • Ability to work in a team and/or alone.
  • Able to work in a pressured environment
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Desire to work in a dynamic, fast past paced and busy organisation
 
Responsibilities include:

  • Drive direct sales to Key Accounts within an established territory and to achieve personal sales budget
  • Sales of our products to new and existing customers.
  • Work with the Tasmania State Manager to ensure account objectives are met.
  • Review sales achievement (actual) against budgets and take corrective action where necessary.
