ABOUT THE POSITION
Our client a reputable company with a focus on ferrous and non-ferrous metal recycling located near Wingfield is seeking Yard Hand with experience in scrap metal works
- Sorting, processing and grading scrap metal.
- Operating the forklift to move materials and Load/Unload trucks.
- Carrying out general warehouse/yard/weighbridge duties.
- Oxy cutting of scrap metal into smaller more manageable pieces.
- Previous experience in a similar labourer or yard hand role.
- Oxy Cutting experience.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a physically demanding. environment.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety.
- A current forklift and HR license (Highly Regarded).
- Additional operational tickets (Highly Regarded)
- A good knowledge of ferrous and non ferrous metals (Highly Regarded).
- Immediate start
- $35.32- $37.49 per hour pending skill level and machinery tickets
