CoreStaff Darwin have a permanent Full Time Opportunity in the Civil Construction Industry for a Senior Contracts Administrator, based in Darwin Northern Territory.

We have a permanent opportunity for a Full Time Senior Contracts Administrator to join the team.
  
About the Role & Responsibilities:
  
The Senior Contract Administrator is to manage the implementation and administration of the contractual and financial processes for projects.
  
  •  Manage the administration team for the project
  • Administer contract terms and conditions for projects
  • Manage Progress Claims for subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and clients
  • Participate in, report on and lead where requested, project meetings with stakeholders, clients, subcontractors and management
  • Managing budgets, cost coding, risks, opportunities and forecasting and understanding and reporting early indicators of project outcomes
  • Active management and administration of project delivery, administration and reporting software
  • Collaborate to ensure that the Site Manager/Site Supervisor, Project Engineers and Contract Administrators are knowledgeable of the subcontractor(s) scope of works
  • Working with the relevant project team to assess contract reviews and ensure that approval is sought if qualifications are required
  • Involvement in monthly project reporting and regular commercial meetings with the Management and Legal teams (and escalation of any issues identified and bringing the project perspective to any disputes/litigation/insurance claims)
  • Preparation of notices for extensions of time, latent conditions, delay costs and variation claims for projects. Be a key member of the project leadership team and provide support for the project manager to enable project success
  • Ensure project handover documentation is compiled progressively and professionally and client takeover experiences are positive and timely
  
  
To be successful for this role, you will need the following:
   
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the construction industry within a Contract Administration role.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including MS Project
  • Detailed knowledge of construction/civil projects including commercial acumen
  • Pronto ERP or similar system experience
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage all aspects of contract tasks including, financial and technical
  • Excellent problem-solving/coordination/communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Positive and can-do attitude
