About Our Client:
Our client is an award-winning local government located approximately 40km south of Perth CBD. About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Waste Truck Driver/Labourer for a casual ongoing role with hours up to 50 hours per week, with Saturday and Sunday shifts available, including public holidays, you will be responsible for collecting household, commercial and public waste throughout the municipality in a safe, efficient and professional manner.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate side and/or rear loader waste collection vehicles safely and efficiently
    • Collect waste from residential, commercial and public bins across designated routes
    • Adhere to all Work Health and Safety policies, procedures and regulations
    • Deliver a high level of customer service when interacting with residents and businesses
    • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance requirements
    • Ensure collection schedules are completed accurately and efficiently
    • Work independently while maintaining safety and productivity standards
  
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Current and valid HR Class Driver's Licence (minimum HR-A)
    • Demonstrated experience operating waste collection vehicles
    • Experience operating side and/or rear loader trucks highly regarded
    • Minimum one year's experience driving heavy vehicles in metropolitan areas
    • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety practices
    • Ability to manage a variety of situations professionally and calmly
    • Excellent time management and organisational skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one
