About the Role:
- Carry out precision welding on crusher components ensuring compliance with technical and safety requirements
- Perform pad welding as needed for component restoration and build up
- Operate welding equipment and hand tools safety and efficiently
- Interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols to complete tasks
- Conduct visual inspections and quality checks on completed welds and perform corrective work when required
- 4-8 weeks work with the possibility of extension
- 12 hour shifts (Days and Nights)
- Must hold a trade qualification in welding
- Be able to successfully complete a weld test (3G, 4G, 3F and 4F) prior to commencement
- Weld tests conducted in Perth for FIFO candidates
- Local testing available for Karratha based candidates
- Must be willing to relocate to Karratha within 6-8 months (housing allowance available)
