CoreStaff Darwin have a exciting opportunity for a Work Health Safety Trainer
Our clint is a government-owned organisation that delivers electricity, water and sewerage services across the Northern Territory.
We are looking for an experienced Work Health & Safety (WHS) Trainer to join the team on an initial 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
This is a great opportunity to work with a large organisation where you'll help improve workplace safety by developing training, supporting audits and working with stakeholders across the business.

About the Role & Responsibilities
As the WHS Trainer, you'll develop engaging training programs, support the organisation's Safety Management System and work closely with leaders to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Develop online WHS training and assessment materials.
- Coordinate the rollout of training across the business.
- Work with managers and stakeholders to improve safety processes.
- Facilitate WHS management review meetings with senior leaders.
- Coordinate internal audits and manage external audit providers.
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to stakeholders.
- Support ongoing improvements to the Safety Management System.
- Provide general project and administrative support as required.
About You:
To be successful, you'll have:
- Experience developing and delivering WHS training, including online learning.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience coordinating training programs.
- Knowledge of WHS management systems and internal audits.
- Experience preparing reports and presenting information to senior stakeholders.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams skills.
- WHS qualifications or experience in training and development will be highly regarded.
- Applicants must be based in Darwin and currently residing in the Northern Territory
